@peterFans Amen. Canon make good quality cameras. Sony too although I think they have made a couple of bad products recently. Mitsuba on the other hand is the cheapest of the cheap, shitty no-name Chinese electronics inside a plastic case dressed up to look like it might be a serious camera. It's a cell phone camera pretending to be a camcorder. And not a very good one either. You don't get a real lens or an image stabiliser or anything that's been standard on camcorders for well over a decade.

no i use the hdc 505 which had the wierd filter thing on it but doesnt have threads... im getting the Raynox qc303 clip on fisheye... its like 25 usd

I got one today, I was suprised by it, its small and has many options, the quality feels all right, not cheap, but not super quality, ive had good luck with some never heard of brands, like Mitsuba, hey I dont think they are copying any body else by their choice of name. Who are they trying to fake? I got mine as a gift and feel no loyalty to any camcorder manufaturer. I think this camera is gonna fit me fine, I film alot so I will post my findings soon.

Nope this thing isnt for me the resolution was terrible for H.D. eats battery power too fast and there seems to be no clarity in anything more than fifty feet from it on infinity when using the video mode. It might fit somebody, but not me.

I had the cdr 505 and I posted this video up above or you can go to my you tube channel and look at the "Ice racing" vid I made using this camera, it sucked. I went to the pawn shop and they gave me 10 dollars for it. SOLD!

discustingly big for relatively shit technology.

more advanced technology and images can be found on alot smaller cameras and for only a little extra.

It is still rubbish quality even in the high quality setting.

Either they are pathetic at encoding their videos or they are using a low quality camera. For a technology site you would expect they would have top quality stuff and the knowledge of how to put up a decent quality video.

Maybe I'm expecting to much of them.
