  • very nice, glad the vet took care. although my last two dogs could hear wonderfully I always train with hand signals as well. paid off well when my older dog went deaf the last few years of his life. he also responded well to vibration from foot taps. best part was he slept like the log and never woke you up early. seeing videos like this make me lean towards my next rescue being special needs. thank you and cute as heck to boot.

  • <3 They change your life, don't they? I got my double merle girl Haven last July. I don't think I'll ever have a hearing dog again unless one shows up on my porch. People always say, "Oh, you're such a good person for taking in a deaf dog!" I have to laugh at them, because she's been an absolute wonder to work with. I'm a dog trainer, so she comes to work with me to talk about double merle consequences.

I hope they bring you as much joy as Haven has brought me.

  • What precious babies! They teach us what Life is all about, it's about the LIVING! They don't sit around feeling sorry for themselves, they play, they love and play and love some more!
