  • Google Texas Blue Dogs. They are a mysterious hairless breed of dog said to be found in Texas. There's a great article about them in Fortean Time's issue #280.

  • Shaved dog ? O_o

  • Shaved dog ? O_o

  • THAT IS A REAL ''CHUPACABRA'' THE GOAT BLOOD SUCKER.

  • Chupacabra :D

  • We Finally Have A Rat Dog!!

  • possum on crack

  • some type of kanine with hair singed off.. if you want to see something nuts.. check out the montauk monster.. straight out of plum island (erich traub) ny.

  • It looks like a hairless dog that got baked in the sun.

  • I looked on Google Images, i am not sure but they have Bald Racoons, looks like it to me.

  • @2813kasim

Racoons have very different front feet and are fairly fat assed.

  • part dog part rat

  • Dog with no hair. Hair drops usually from radiation. Did you get DNA sample for independent study?

  • Not too long ago, they found several similar critters toward the border that were thought to be the source of local chupacabra myth, and they identified it as a subspecies of hairless coyote through genetic testing, which can occur in an isolated wild population with a little inbreeding or mutation thrown in the mix.

  • Ryjówka :)

  • wygląda jak ryjek z bajki pt .muminki

  • ogromny szczur

  • show eyes of it

  • This looks like my dog..a Xoloitscuintli. You can see a video of him by going to "Xoloitzcuintli". David, will you contact me..I really want to know if this is a Xolo.

  • @socaljules1 OMG why are people so dumb???...Yes it is a small Xoloitzcuintti dog. They come in various sizes, toy, med & standard...

  • @je2u

Thank you! I was thinking exactly the same thing!

  • @je2u

No it is not. Look at the back leg, it does not have the hock of a dog or most any other four legged animal. It doesn't even have the pads on the rear feet like any dog. Damn you idiots who keep saying this is a fricken mexican hairless need to learn a little bit about subjective thinking (and seeing) and objective thinking (and seeing).

  • maybe it's just a lawn ornament?

  • i think its the chupacabra :O

  • My saying is ITS A RACOON

  • Judging by the feet it's a coon but those are some big ears

  • Looks like a normal hairless to me..

  • The animal appears to have a penis like a dog but I couldn't see any testicles, and it seems to have a prehensile tail...very strange, I would be very interested to hear what the experts have to say.

  • This thing is a hairless raccoon.... Easy way to tell. The animal was a male. Male coons unlike dogs , cats and many other animals have a baculum "penis bone". If this thing has a bone it is a hairless raccoon. After learning about taxidermy and seeing hairless hides i would say this is a raccoon. It couldnt be a xoloitzcuintle cause the back feet do not have the long pads. The long pads indicate it is spending a good ammount of time on its hind legs.

  • It looks a lot like a baby xoloitzcuintle!! Do a google image search for a xoloitzcuintle and you'll see for yourself it's a hairless dog and scary ugly too!

  • Look at the teeth on this fucking thing!!! NOT a dog...maybe in the canine species. Also look at how large the hind legs are, weird

  • Comment removed

  • i smell bullshittttttt

  • NAKED WILD DOG !!! Which sex ? Male or Female?

  • i thought it was maybe a big normal dog untill you moved it with your hands, this is amazing and I'd like to know what you did with it.

  • that's a dog... it's a xoloitzcuintle...

  • I've seen a few shows highlighting these things on television, they're becoming more and more frequent. From the tests, which were done on Monsterquest or one of those SyFy shows, revealed that they are a canine. However, they are of an unknown species...the head structure and canines are distinctly different than any domestic dog, and they have yet to narrow down what it could be. Some speculate it might be a species we've simply missed somehow, others a mutation, and then the rest who simply-

  • looks like raccoon feet to me

  • It's a canine, south american, new mixed breed? so what, the bottom line is (it's a canine people) let the professionals study it, but cool down, no biggie.

  • Seriously? RAB is making WAY to big of a deal out of this......People they are having a musical festival in its honor......lol Funny thing is, it is a Hispanic Mythical creature and it's the white man exploiting it......crazy!

  • I live not too far from this area

    (Springtown)

And this is scary to know something like

This is that close to our town,

    It's practically out our backdoor.

I drive to Decatur for work, and I'm always

Scared to drive home down 51 at night,

I've seen some weird animals on the side of the road, but mostly like opossums, armadillos, stuff like that. Nothing to this extent.

  • hey i know what it is!!!

    its dead alright!!!

    lol!

  • It looks like a Chupacabra. Did someone kill it? I heard when they bite they leave three puncture wounds in the shape of a triangle. Try looking at it's teeth and tell me what you think.

  • its a chupacabra

  • ppl have found this kind of type of creatures but found out they werent related with the dog but ppl who find it are really lucky cuz there rare to find haha

  • upier. try finding that

  • find a scientist to study it and find out what it is

  • Thats a hairless Dog.

  • Great documentation Mr. Potter! TP&W has it wrong I think, I have never seen a racoon with ears like that. I used to work for a vet in Fort Worth and have treated alot of mangy animals, that is definately not the mange.

  • Make a DNA analysis!

  • looks like a hyena a maybe relative or mix w a kinky dog!

  • this is not a dog, but it's some sorta rodent by the looks of its paws. dogs usually have 4 toes but this one has five toes like a racoon or possum. but i donno what it is.

  • chupacabra

  • Look up Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger). The University of Melbourne and University of Texas have replicated the DNA of this extinct marsupial and are cloning it. Hopefully this will help you out.

  • Creo que es un Perro Calvo y no el "Chupacabras".

  • is only dog. a poor dog

  • can you imagine that ? they found a dead dog.. and they make video about it... lol amricans

  • @drazosrbija hmm, not sure I have ever seen a dog that looks like that. Kinda strange you want to poke fun at, what did you call it? "amricans" Can not understand how you can call this a dog. Looks nothing like one.

  • @drazosrbija yes... ok .. sure... right.. :)

  • @drazosrbija Yup. Stupid Amricans. Too bad almost everyone wants to come to America, right? Idiot.

  • @Tenmachi everyone ? don't thik so. anyway fact that SOME people want to come to america don't mean that americans are smart... now go and stick your finger in the something.

  • @drazosrbija I said almost everyone, idiot. And just because one person does something doesn't mean that americans AREN'T smart. And I'm one of the ones that doesn't want to live in america, so go stick your ass in something.

  • @TenmachI=8777777777777777777777777

  • chubricabris caninus its a relitive of the coy dog or the north amarican dingo.

  • That is a strange find-that's for sure.

  • chupancobra

  • yup chupacobra

  • Raccoon?? I see no resemblance to a raccoon. Other reports state it to be from a rare breed of dog, Peruvian Inca Orchid. And from the pics, it much more resembles that.

  • We did give the critter to an exotic animal sanctuary..and they were going to send it away for further research..

  • @DavidPotter1974 Think its in Area 51

  • Isn't there a scientific museum that may want the animal? Try calling some Biologists or Zoologists at local universities. It would be interesting to see what they find out.

They also said the Zoo wanted the speciman to try to find out what made it hairless..It did not have any mange...Thanks for all the ppl who helped..I bet I will never see one of theses again in my life..it was pretty strange..

  • Honestly this should be in a study laboratory to prove what it is... SHOULDN'T THAT ANSWER EVERYBODY QUESTION WHAT IT IS? because likely it could be a unknown animal or it could be a animal...

  • yeah money is free for everyone

  • It reminds me of the hyenas and jackals from Australia - maybe it's a cousin of theirs.

  • the chupacabra...

  • The lady who has it is getting DNA test done she is from texas a&m, and she is a biologist and she said she doesnt know what it is

  • Who has it now?? Take it to Texas A&M and see if they can run a DNA analysis on it. That should provide some good info on what its origin is.

  • Sorry, it's not neutered. The biologists and vet agree that it was a juvenile male. The sac is there, but the testicles have not dropped. AND NO IT'S NOT A DOG.....

  • I think a nutria rat screwed a chihuahua

  • A vet couldn't tell you it was a frigging canid?

    Sores don't necessarily mean mange.

It could be a dog, a coyote, or some mix - but that's it.

    Canid with mange.

It also appears to be neutered. Is this right? Does it still have its beans and beanbag? If not, then... Who ever heard of a neutered chupa?

    Canid.

    Sorry to burst your bubble...

    DD

  • hey mister its a FRIGGING racoon sorry to bust your bubble, the news called me today, and it doesnt have the mange,so canid that dedicated dad.
