Very helpful. I've started to get into watching hockey and wanted to get a better understanding of the rules. Much better explanation then the other video I watched.
thanks next time I try to explain hockey to my GF at the game, I am just going to your youtube page. Granted I only get 1 bar at the Madhouse, so maybe I will just have to wait... Great job.
Thank you so so much, I'm starting to play hockey. This has really helped me because this was the ONLY rule I have never understood whilst watching. :) Thank you very much, I'll cherish this information when I'm playing <3
Good rule explanation. I find hockey simple and then I try explaining it to someone who doesn't get it and I realize that's it's just simple to me. A couple of additions or other ways is when the player with puck skates outside his offensive zone into the neutral zone, his players must "clear the zone" by skating out past the blue line as well. Typically after this has occurred, the player with puck will/can shoot the puck back into the zone and the team plays a "dump and chase" style. :D
Make more please! I have become such a hockey buff but have been disappointed by just how many other fans really don't know the rules. That's frustrating for me since I am trying to learn all the rules so I can enjoy it more!
Actually it's not offline until one of the green players touch the puck. Referee will not call offline until one of the green players is actually touching the puck.
And to make it even MORE complicated, if one of the magenta players touch the puck in their zone, the green players are free to play in the offensive zone, even if it was originally offside.
Very informative and laid out well! Love the art design you did, opposed to showing hockey game clips! Keep making more videos please :)

The onlything you need to know is that the puck must enter the attacking zone first.
