So instead of giving them back we shall a deal; so in exchange for giving back the Parthenon Marbles we shall give you The Duke of Edinburgh! its only fair he is from Greece, about as old as Parthenon Marbles and inadvertently ended up in the UK and married the queen. So its only fair...

@SirDonkeyspaz It's not what we can do with history, but what is history for us. These sculptures are a part of who we are. They are a part of our history and tradition. The Parthenon marbles are like a finger of a human. If the human lose his finger then his hand will be 10% useless. So these marbles are an important part for us. We are Greeks and we never seen the Parthenon complete. A Small part of our soul is in London right now. What if we were taking Big Ben to Greece?

Effectively its showing off the marvellous wonders that Greece produced 2500 years ago to 6 million people every year. But no, your right the Brits stole it for safe keeping a long time ago, and should really give it back :(

@SirDonkeyspaz Elgin stole these marbles for his personal gain not for ''safe keeping''. He was about to sell everything in order to gain money. Even the Turkish commander of that time cried when he saw the damage. When Elgin took the marbles, Parthenon suffered much more damage on that day than the damage done during the last 2.000 years. Why i as a Greek have to travel to England to see the Parthenon marbles while Parthenon is in Greece? As i said a pice of our soul and culture is in London.
