This is excellent... thank you. My system leaks through the steam wand when doing regular brewing. I still think it's the valve allowing pressure to bypass. So your video is a huge help. We're in KY, so no Gaggia repair center nearby.... The last time I sent my machine to The Expresso Shop and they kept it for 6 weeks and were rude on the phone. So I think this time I'll just fix it myself thanks to you.
My Gaggia Titanium was leaking all the time; not just during steaming. The large coffee ended up looking like a shot of espresso with about a half cup of warm water on the counter.
The instructions were just what I needed! My coffee addicted wife is happy again. (My original steam valve was plastic.)

Thanks for the video; it helped in fixing my leaking G.T. Mine appeared to be leaking from around the crimp clamp, not sure if valve replacement was actually necessary; but it's done nonetheless now and appears to be working as new again. Thanks.
Many thanks for this - was really helpful. Got myself a replacement valve (just 13 euros in Holland), followed your instructions step by step and fixed it! Thanks again.
Glad I was able to help. This is my first YouTube video. I didn't know about the 10 minute limut until I tried to post. I was surprised it was so hard to keep under 10 minutes. I didn't have plan when I started as it was my first Gaggia repair also.
Cheers. Great vid!
I don't think you need to label the wires going to the heating on top though. It's a resistor.
Now if only I can figure out my group blocked problem. Might be the motor. ;-)
