Ever since the Spongebob movie came out, the writers left and Spongebob went down hill. 2004, that was 7 years ago! I was 7 when this movie came out. That was a good year.. I miss the old Spongebob :(

@matrixfan127 It wasn't bad at all. SpongeBob was supposed to end in 04, but after the movie the ratings sky-rocketed that Nick asked the producers to make more episodes. Though already being that Stephen Hillenburg has sold all of his rights to Nickelodeon for SpongeBob, new producers were picked knowing Stephen Hillenburg was to give up on his career of the little yellow Sponge who lived in a pineapple under the sea.

@Hiwayrockszone9 No, the ratings didn't go sky high, they didn't go sky high at all! They certainly weren't low, it was a decent film, nothing good, but nothing bad either, it wasn't brilliant like The Matrix or The lord of the rings or anything, the creator retired and the creator who really put the effort on the comedy on the show which was actually very funny, left it to a dumbass who fired 3 writers and made the show suck.
