Classic stuff, simple as that. It's great that they came back. I was able to see them twice here in Finland last year and I won't ever forget that. So magical band, words aren't enough. I only wonder why they aren't re-pressing this on vinyl already, one of the greatest releases for me.
I've had the extreme pleasure of enjoying the music of Pentagram ever since the 80's. Not counting the 60's(beginning of Heavy Metal) the 80's had some of the greatest explosion of metal bands.
@The77surfer Re 80s Death Row/Pentagram, I scored their 1st LP when it came out around 85. Vitus, Trouble, Candlemass, Witchfinder and of course Motorhead, Venom and Celtic Frost - used to wear a CF Emperor's Return backpatch on my denim back then \m/ - and then Melvins and Sleep not long after.
It gets me when people talk about '80s metal' in terms of either the glam, or the more commercially successful big name bands when the obscure, Sabbathy stoner/doom bands generated tremendous influence!
@TheeUnidentified It's just the same way today, " tell me what you want me to listen to by putting it on the radio because I'm too lazy to search for the great music myself ". I've come to find more excellent musicians/bands on my own than ever heard on the radio. The radio has never provided all that much as far as great music goes anyway. Anyone who likes great music seek it out and you will find it. I do remember the great times & music of the 80's & the bands you named are excellent.
