I dont understand why didnt just grab the gun. I mean, she tries once, can't reach it and gives up? Surely with that much fear and adrenaline pumping through your body you could find a way to reach the gun.
Wasn't it obvious? The gun was up too high on the shelf out of sight and she therefore had no idea it was there. In fact there was tons of footage showing her looking for it, but it was just out of reach.
But yeah, she just sits on the steps when every other time she was pwning Santa pretty good.
Great episode. However, it had its faults. The biggest one was the fact that it should've just ended with him asking "naughty...or nice?" That line is delivered PERFECTLY. Instead, they decided to have about 20 seconds of her screaming NO, over, and over, and over. This 20 seconds completely ruined the mood for me, and looked more stupid than anything else.
Agreed, I actully thought this one got kind of inteness near the end when santa was trying kid but the screaming just ruined it. We could at least seen her die.

And she never got the body outside in the original one so it would have been way harder to explain that to the cops. This one she could have thrown the fire poker outside next to the body and just told the cops he brought it out with him and got taken away by psycho.

guys does anyone remember a christmast special in which there were two parents telling a story to their kids about a beast that used to fly during christmast and get those that date to tell this story at the end of the episode the parents are pull out of the house by the windows by this monster, does any one knows? I saw it when I was a kid and was terrified. please any body help me to remember.

This was so freakin scary. When she said "I let him in" and the door blew open, I had to cover my eyes. For the record, yes she did scream a little too much when she could have just ran to a phone or something.

The movie version from 1972 made more sense.
That couple had a white fur rug and the husband bled out all over it. This version she wipes it up with a paper towel off a table lol
And she never got the body outside in the original one so it would have been way harder to explain that to the cops. This one she could have thrown the fire poker outside next to the body and just told the cops he brought it out with him and got taken away by psycho.
Lastly 1972 had an antique sword, way better!
