Saw her perform last night (7/11/2010) at a small theatre in my hometown in the midwest. She's promoting her new album, "The Age of Miracles". She looked and sounded sensational! Awesome singer/songwriter, gorgeous voice and beautiful songs.

Whenever I think of Mary Chapin it's of a concert at the scenic Artpark in Lewiston N.Y. some years ago on a summer night she was awesome her band very tight. One of the finest songwritters there is.. As a bonus The Mavericks were the opener.

My greart memory is with Shaun Caulvin in Dublin Ireland 5 odd years ago and just as she introducd "I am a Town" somebodies mobile whet off and the person proceeded to answer it and much to the crowds amusement Mary said "At your own time". Great show great singer

@TristanandIsolt ~ WTF have you been smoking? Mary Chapin is MUCH better looking. MCC is also quite NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL, anybody can look attractive with make-up etc. Mary Chapin is absolutely gorgeous. With an extremely beautiful personality, spirit mind and Heart to boot which just makes her all that much more attractive. And she obviously has NO clue herself, in an extremely humble respect, as to just how truly beautiful she is inside and out. Only a real fool would have the opportunity

@69GAH69 I haven't been smoking anything for the last 30 years. I just wanted to point out that she has been very successful without having the Hollywood looks that so many other singers rely upon. Come on Come on is the best Country album ever made by a woman. I give the best country album ever made by a male to John Anderson for Seminole Wind. I also don't believe John Anderson made it on his looks.

She is taking a break from touring... earlier this year- 2008, she was hospitalized with a pulmonary aneurism and could've died- lucky for us she didn't. I love all of her music-

one of the greatest singer songwriters of our time!
