  • Something about the way David looks at Hiroshi and says, "That's just an old, bent PAN!", is so funny.

  • David died in 1990 or around that time

  • Yes, it was in the year 1990 that David passed away from stomach cancer. David sure was a great character on Sesame Street.

  • Wow, that must have been near the end of David's run on the show.

  • I'm not sure if this was near the end of David's run or not. I know that David left the show in the year 1989, and he did have sideburns during his later years on the show. So I might be wrong but, I think it was at somewhere when he had sideburns when he left the show.

  • David's final appearance is where Maria is giving birth to Gabi. A season later the cast lied saying that he's living with his grandma; when the store turns over to Mr. Handford. He Died on 1/9/90.

  • Isn't that Long Duck Dong from "Sixteen Candles"?

  • It's "Duk"

  • yes it is

  • Oscar rocks.

  • Since the actor who plays Hiroshi,(don't know his name very well),is japanese, was he typically lyp-sinching an english audio soundtrack?

  • He's not lip-synching. Gedde Watanabe is Japanese-American. (He was born in Utah.)

  • Oh.O.k.Thanks for clearing it out for me Sawing,I couldn't exactly tell if he was lip-synching or was actually talking.

  • I think his real first name is Gary.

  • who is hiroshi?

  • That's the name of the character Gedde played.

  • hey isn't that the guy from the movie Sixteen Candles? :D

  • Yes. Same guy. Notice that there isn't the slightest trace of an accent. The accent was just part of the role in the film.

  • thanks for posting this. got anymore?
