Linda has done a much better job with the majority of the artists you named, producing a lot of the artists top hits. I really love her sound. It's such a different style than No Boundaries. No offense, but I didn't really care for that song. I think this song still has a full "pop" feel, with the repeat lines, but what makes this tune so beautiful and strong is the rock edge and the soul she gives to it. Looking forward to hearing more from Miss DioGuardi. Keep doing what you love, be that writing and/or singing.
her singing career is likely over. Not trying to be even slightly rude, but she didn't make it then. 2nd, her voice is good, but not amazing. Neither of those reasons would stop her from having a chance in the future. But now she's a judge on American Idol and that pretty much changes how people feel about buying an album. Paula with 6 past #1's is far more successful, but had trouble selling really big after becoming a judge. Paula was successful, but it doesn't match the past.

to the person that said she did not add any dimension to AI they are wrong. She is current alot of the songs you hear on the R&B radio now she wrote. she is adding a more current and up to date judging to the show...it was a very smart move that the show made hiring her

This is a very good, commercial sound. Ms. DioGuardi is a very fine siner who writes occasional good songs.
I do note Dave Stewart does really nothing special to justify his reputation in the pop music world, at least here. I'm convinced beyond a doubt that it was Annie Lennox who was the heart and soul of the Eurythmics.

I really love her sound. It's such a different style than No Boundaries. No offense, but I didn't really care for that song. I think this song still has a full "pop" feel, with the repeat lines, but what makes this tune so beautiful and strong is the rock edge and the soul she gives to it. Looking forward to hearing more from Miss DioGuardi. Keep doing what you love, be that writing and/or singing.

her singing career is likely over. Not trying to be even slightly rude, but she didn't make it then. 2nd, her voice is good, but not amazing. Neither of those reasons would stop her from having a chance in the future. But now she's a judge on American Idol and that pretty much changes how people feel about buying an album. Paula with 6 past #1's is far more successful, but had trouble selling really big after becoming a judge. Paula was successful, but it doesn't match the past.
