All American Bass amps ... there are three amps in the car. One on the subs is $700 (( and wasn't even half way up )) the other two were on the mids @ $300 each (( only needed one but since I had them both I put them both in. Call 850-575-7737 ... they'll get your sound system right!

Just been hearing about a lot of them [amps] blowing up on people lately but you can never tell why they blow up if you don't install it yourself and we didn't install those so we don't know why they've been blowing up .... overall they are a bit high in price though unless you're finding a deal on them. ----------------- Call us we can ship you some good stuff.

Well first a GOOD head unit (4Volt Pre-outs wouldn't hurt ... I like Pioneer) Next I would get the subs you want and then BALANCE OUT YOUR SOUND WITH QUALITY MIDS AND HIGHS ... to me that's what makes a system. If you go to the right shop they'll also offer you a crossover with your new TWO AMP set up.(one for subs and one for mids and highs) That should satisfy you.

Getting Kicker L7 subs isn't the way to go because you will have to buy an amp to go with it ... and nothing about the $2000 budget says Kicker L7 subs. So don't listen to this guy (rsels14) !!!

you can get 1 l7 sub for around 250 in box, than the amp for about 600 then a deck for about 250, pretty sure he would have enough to even buy some speakers along with it...

I saw the comments below and I picked up my system for like $940 and installed it myself I have.... Four Ma Audio 10in subs Two Ma Audio 2000 watt amps 600 watt Kenwood amp for highs/mids Ma Audio 6x9s in the rear Ma Audio 5x7 components in the rear Ma Audio 4x6 components in the front 0/1 awg kicker wire 4 awg kicker wire Panasonic 200 watt head and an iPod Each sub is in a custom made 1.45cb. ft. vented box tuned to 34 hz that I built  not bad for me only being 16....lol

Well of course you'd have to find someone to install it so that's not included ...

but as far as speakers head unit eq and crossover you would be looking to spend between 3000 and 4000

.... We can also get you a system you'll love for about $2000. THAT'S SALE PRICE. We just have a lot of extra custom work done on the inside so it's hard to say exactly how much it'll cost you.
