Yep, it was an irritatingly noisy show. Not just one person, but many. It's kind of funny how it happens that an artist can hold an auditorium spellbound when they're on tour, but the hometown crowd kind of takes them for granted sometimes. In all fairness, I should mention that a number of people did try to shush the offenders.
Personally I find it very distracting that some boor is yammering on without stop throughout the whole song. Why did that person even bother attend a live show?
I think Rich Stir Fry (thats what my daughter calls him) just ripped off this comment the next day when he introduced this song... I actually would be honoured if you did Rich! I hope CBC Radio 2 continues to flogg this song hard for the next little while....powerful lyrics and a great performer! We are blessed as Canadians to have great artists like Amelia Curran and a great vehicle like CBC Radio 2 to promote them!
with all the clamor she must have felt alone and lost in her song...sad and beautiful at the same time
