@darkheart407 None of those are PS one classics, if you mean by Platinum status. The Playstation wasen't able to fully copy the full extent of the arcade versions. For instince you could only play as one character against another, you couldn't tag characters in or out, due to the consoles limitations, that's why when the games were released on the Sega Saturn in Japan, they came with expansion cartridges, so that the game would be a lot like the arcade versions.

I love those QSound intros! Don't get enough of hearing them! @AbelGomez1987 Cyclops is 6'3. Ryu's height seems to vary depending on his age in the game you're playing though, but in SF 2 he was supposed to be 5'10.

When I was 8 or 9 years old, seeing the case on the BlockBuster shelf was the greatest thing I had ever laid my eyes on. Took the game home, popped it in my PS1 (shitty port, but I didn't care or knew at the time) and I loved everything about it.
Marvel, put cyclops in mvc3 for we can ryu and cyclops go at it again like they said would want do. Nows the perfect time ughhh. Cyclops not being in it is a mistake. You can't have xmen without cyclops.
You know, I'm still surprised they don't have these available for download on PS3/Xbox Live. Fans would eat that stuff up in a second, just seems like a waste of an oppurtunity.

This is one of those Arcade units (like the original Street Fighter 2), that I would just love to have. It's just that getting Arcade units isn't cheap.....

Capcom's fighting series has really gone downhill nowadays. I still play this game, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and even Super Street Fighter 2 on the Snes. Capcom was the best a few years back but then Street Fighter 4 came out and it's a piece of trash. Let's hope the VS series starts to come back more after Marvel VS Capcom 3...another X-Men vs Street Fighter would be awesome. I wish my local arcade carried this game...but they do have Marvel Super Heroes.... Mk needs to go back to 2-D too
Back in those days Capcom wasn´t one of the best, Capcom was the BEST in fighting games, and the versus series starting with this (XMVSF) made the company more sucessful than it is now. Glory days in sales, the arcades where full in every single corner of the planet playing the versus series, you dont see SSF4 played that much, not everybody can have the money to buy a console and play online... Capcom was in his glory days for that.
@SHINLAZER No, YOU don't see SSF4 being played that much. Over 3 million copies of SF4 sold, and Over a 1 million confirmed for SSF4, and it hasnt even been out for 3 months yet. This game is constantly creating crowds at CTF. A local arcade here in New York. This game is contstantly getting live streams of tournaments and has even introduced at lot more new players to the fighting genre thanks to it's easy to pick up playstyle. You have got to be fucking kidding me with that last line too....
lol Glory days? Someones an angry old man. Have you played Ssf4? or monster hunter? The only thing capcom needs to stop is resident evil. There are still one of the best companies. Save that for when EA or Activision tries to buy them as a company.

Funny thing is that in their profiles, Cyclops is like 1ft taller than Ryu, I believe Ryu is like 5'8 where Cyclops is 6'7

@SHINLAZER No, YOU don't see SSF4 being played that much. Over 3 million copies of SF4 sold, and Over a 1 million confirmed for SSF4, and it hasnt even been out for 3 months yet. This game is constantly creating crowds at CTF. A local arcade here in New York. This game is contstantly getting live streams of tournaments and has even introduced at lot more new players to the fighting genre thanks to it's easy to pick up playstyle. You have got to be fucking kidding me with that last line too....
