i also bought the fake mac yet they were very similar to the real thing. Mine seemed more real than yours though. I did have the silver and the brushes did not shed at all. I've had them for over 6months and I use it twice a day (the minimum).

I have the exact brush set!I paid 24.00 for it on ebay!when you wash them make sure to elevate them with the bristles down.The water tends to stay trapped in the fennel.(the metal part)I found that if you clean them before you use them and use a good brush cleaning spray they don't shed at all.Mine were shedding really bad when I was reviewing them myself.My brushes don't shed at all anymore!

I've read that these brushes stink when you wash them and the dye bleeds. I wouldn't want to be lied to about what I'm buying. The people who make the brushes are profiting off of MAC's label by making counterfeit products. Why not create their own name and sell their product instead of lying to and tricking people? Good for a price =/= Good product!

hey u should really clean your brushes when u first get them because they usually smell weird so it gets the smell off plus u just dont really know what could be on them and u dont want dirt and stuff on ur face.... plus your suppose to wash ur brushes often i wash mine once a week to get all the makeup and oil from ur face of them it helps prevent ur face from breaking out... u can just look up makeup brush cleaner, there are ALOT of brands just find 1 that works for u!!!:)
