My least favorite Scottish lights are Esha Ness, Fair Isle North and South; Butt of Lewis; the New Kinnaird Head light; Brough of Birdsay: Point of Ayre; Fladda; Pladda; and a few other lights.
My favorite Scottish lighthouses are St Abb's Head; Tiumpan Head; Duncansby; Ardnamurchan ( My no.1 favorite Scottish lighthouse) Mull of Galloway; North Ronaldsay; Chanonry { :) } Cromarty; Kinnaird Head; Mull of Kintyre; Ailsa Craig; Barns Ness; Rua Reidh; Strathy Point ( the light who's lantern room looks like Tater Du's); Girdleness; Toward; Bressay; Sumburgh; Eilean Glas; definitely Corsewall; Killantringan; Langless; Neist Point; and last bu not least; Cape Wrath.
@mstrufflegirl Yep! Chanonry Point is a very nice but quite remote place. You have to be patient to see the dolphins, but when they pop up out of the water you get a great view! When they're more active, later in the year they jump fully out of the water! Saw some dolphins the other day, too just off the end of Portland Bill, in Dorset - south of England, which was unusual.
