The guy is a Kiwi, the finished boat is in Auckland. They have designed now, so that when it cuts through a wave it can take on ballast and work like a submarine.

Go look up Earthrace. The boat was actually built and it smashed the previous record for circumnavigating the globe in a powerboat. It smashed the record even though they had a pump failure and also some monsoon weather which cost them time. Stick to your fishing, mate.

Actually i'm pretty sure the guy's from New Zealand (being an aussie, you can kinda tell) and i also saw a story here about these guys and their boat, and they're from NZ. Pretty incredible maching also, if i can remember correctly, it runs on bio-diesel and was made to travel around the world.
