No you don't, you just have to beat the Challenge of the Gods to get the costumes. Beating a game only get you "God" level and certain movies, while beating the game on "God" mode gets you more movies. the "Challenge of the Gods" is kinda a bitch, but beating it makes you feel pretty good about yourself once you are done.
