there is literally nothing interesting about crystal castles. they try to advance shoegaze and dream pop by making it more electronic, but they clearly know nothing about dance music so it just comes off as the sort of terrible "synth rock and roll" you could on a 1980s keyboard. I know exactly what they're trying to do, but they just don't know enough to approach it in the right way.
