I'm working on my master's in history, and this guy has inspired me to apply my history training to everything and not just wars and treaties.. Maybe i can do a history of the NFL, or biographies of professional wrestlers.. so much history all around us and we dont even realize it.

Great review, draws you in like you're reading the climax of a detective novel, you know? AVGN was my first type of reviewer that does videogames, but recently I've gotten into CGR and now the great GH. Like somoneone said, this guy is classy, and nicely straightforward. No cussing, no lame jokes, and not arrogant in his display in knowledge. And kinda cute. His presentation alone makes me wish I was born earlier than 1992, and I feel nonstalgic even though I'm younger than many of his topics

@XxTSUNAMISNIPERxX Despite you only joking about it, I think you are on to something. I work in the gaming industry and did not need most of what I learned in school. I think we would have better designers and less online flame wars if high school or even grade school students would learn more about the history of video games. There is a large spectrum of jobs available inside the industry rangeing from artists to marketing. Why isn't there such a class?

Nintendo has always kept it real. They were the only real niggas in the 80's when it came to games. Sega came along later in the 90's but in the mid to late 80's nintendo was it.
