@Rokthewok Thanks very much! The communication board just uses a MAX232 to convert RS-232 levels to TTL levels and then a SN75176B to convert them to RS-485. The SN75176B is TI's version of the MAX485, which is more expensive. I go to MIT in Cambridge, MA. Some of the rooms in my dorm face the Charles River (if you're lucky enough to get one).
Awesome work man - what are the IC's on the communications board? Also, that is one helluva view you have from your dorm. What city?
