Sad video....both my parents are crack users..My father started smoking crack 3 months before i was born..I am 24 now i will be in a few months..at first my father hid that he was using until i was about 5 then he finally told my mother..Then she began using as well....along with shooting cocaine..my mother contracted HEP.C from sharing needles..Then my father contracted it from my mother..When i was 6 my parents had another child..(my younger brother)..By the age of 10 i was aware of them using
I was told what Crack was from my friends mother..when i asked her why my mom and dad never had any money..At 11 my mother was arrested and went to prison for 3 years..The first week she was released my father was arrested for child molestation of his girlfriends daughter..my mother moved me and my brother to her boyfriends house shortly after..at 15 i asked my grandmother to get me and my brother a plane ticket to come visit her in Florida ..the round trip was for 2 weeks.
On the last day when we were going to the airport i refused to get on the plane..My brother had to go back ..i stayed with an uncle..i got a job at about 4 months before i turned 16...shortly after i moved in with my girlfriend..on my birthday my mother called me to talk..i asked her if i paid for the ticket would she allow my brother to visit me..she agreed..she sent him down the next week when it was time for him to go back i wouldnt let him..she signed custody Temporary custody over to me..
I worked the same job i had and at 17 i became assistant manager and at 18 i became General Manager of the store..We then moved to Georgia due to a location opening with better pay and a shot at partnership..My brother graduated now he lives on his own and is doing well..I continue to work...I stayed with my girlfriend..we have 2 kids both boys..my oldest is 6 and my youngest is 4...And we are doing great..

@Frother93 after nearly a year clean, Amy relapsed about 7 months ago now. She is still trying to find her way out of her current situation. I offer her support and prayer any chance I get, but it is ultimately her battle. She is very brave in not giving up. Keep her in your thoughts.
@lorenamatt Amy's immediate future may involve some jail time/prison time. She's actually to the point now that she feels it's the only way she'll stay clean. I've encouraged her to turn herself in and ask the courts for treatment instead of simple incarceration. We'll see what happens.
