We have wonderful smog alert warning systems throughout the country, acid rain, radioactive materials from coal plants spewing into the atmosphere. @MinDBlanK1 I agree with you on the Al Gore and the oil company statements. Where I live they use the Global Warming argument as an excuse to become passive on all issues though. So maybe your statement on "Nobody is saying what is being used at the moment is good or shouldn't be turned away from," hopefully is true at least where you live. It is not the case in the US anywhere so far that I have seen.
