thats a 555 output to a 4017 decade counter chip i think. you can also make the left to right cylon/night rider flahsing lights that way

did you put a 556 and a 555 timer in and link em thats cool good work

SOOO the result is, the first 2 LEDs blink 2 times then there is small pause(untill the pulse goes to pin 7) untill the second set of LED's blink. Make the frequency higher to get the effect. ENJOY :P

GUYS this is very simple....THERE is NO Point of using 3 (555's)...like WOW..you can just use 1 (555) and a 4017...there are 10 outputs, just use them(all you need is 4 in this case) and be carefull to make the lights flash alternatively :P (for example connect first 2 LEDs to 2nd pin and 4th pin then the other 2 LEDs (when I say two they are connected in series) to pin 7 and 9...
