If you read the case studies you would know this commonly happened after they split with their husbands and it was emotional in nature, not sexual. Therefore, she was making a reasonable statement of OPINION that when these men left and women were fluid in their willingness to change, there was a much better opportunity with other women.

Also Richard Lippa, professor of psychology at California State University, Fullerton, has done numerous studies. Learn up. @phoboskitty The WHOLE point of the studies, for a lot of women it wasn’t about repressed feelings but a change of heart most commonly AFTER the age of 30. If you read the case studies you would know this commonly happened after they split with their husbands and it was emotional in nature, not sexual. Therefore, she was making a reasonable statement of OPINION that when these men left and women were fluid in their willingness to change, there was a much better opportunity with other women.

One study found that 30% of women re-identified themselves over a 10 year period. She may have been adamant about her opinion, but it was hardly "ignorant" as Anna said or "dead wrong" as Stenky said. It was her own opinion based upon studies. The View and TYT was opinion based upon arrogance and ignorance.

The studies also point out that many of the women were not switching for sexual reasons, just like Hasselbeck was trying to explain. It’s a reasonable argument. On the other side of the argument, there were no studies, just ignorant gang mentality ridicule. Then TYT edited the clip to erase references to the actual studies. Ideology over truth.

Worked in a prison for a long time, and you see alot of this.
Homosexuality is a situational thing in straight people that get isolated from the opposite sex.
Two very common reasons for this isolation are prison for a long time, or being alone in old age (Both very prevalent in this day and age.)
Not saying everyone whos gay is because of the reasons i said above, just its very common for ppl to turn gay when circumstances are right.
Try going 10 - 15 years without any chicks and see.
