A great interpretation well in line with the Russian tradition (Sobinov/Lemeshev/Gedda). The pronunciation is very good with minor imperfections - not surprising from a Pole... I like Villazon better but Beczala is arguably closer to what Russian opera is supposed to sound like!

Netrebko is finally going to have this. Kwiecien has been singing this role for quite some years by now. Beczala's Lensky is to be eagerly awaited at the MET.
