is kneeeling push ups more effective or does it strenghten other areas than normal push ups ?

@agosti It's less effective and strengthens the same areas. It's useful though for a few reasons:
1) If you're too weak to do a full pushup, kneeling pushups can allow you to progress.
2) If you've got an injury, you can do kneeling pushups until you've recovered, as they are easier on your body, especially joints.
3) You can do them as a warm up, especially to stretch your joints.
4) You can do one-arm kneeling pushups as a progression from close-grip pushups to one-arm full pushups.
