You get celebi on gold, silver and crystal by training 2 sneasels to lv. 48. They need the exact same moveset with Beat Up as their 3rd move. breed them and then breed the baby with a ????? (put a bad clone in Day care and then remove it) and you will have a celebi egg. If the sneasels 4th move is reflect it will be holding a GS ball. No need to thank me, thank Bulbapedia.

depends on the egg, ive had an egg take 5000+ stepps
