ok im confused about the manual 1st off the arty they it com wit compass but when i read how to use i dont understand and the firepower and the red dice the red dice there r only like 4 to 6 red ones what if ur in a higher cover and firepower wtf black is how much punch it does it add to the black and last of all wat about the disturbed and how do u use motars
I think it's foolish to compare the two. They serve different purposes. I prefer TOI's epic scale, depth, freedom, and fantastic on-line scenario editor. It doesn't use cards at all compared to Mem 44, just as little boosters in the background for artillery, paratroopers, or special abilities (engineers for mines or tank traps etc..) , in any case they are different games entirely.
@ShaneCopseysTV Very basically it means that the designers of Memoir 44 made a simpler game, there is less to keep track of during the game, and it plays faster with less choices. This is in general terms though. Tide of Iron is more complex (has more rules) and thus more realistic. I prefer ToI but it all depends what you want to get out of the game.
Love the bf 1942 music.

There is a scenario design contest on the TOI forum. Google "toi fantasy flight forum"

okay. From what i see Memoir 44 may be a better, more streamlined WWII Boardgame Experiance.
