this law of attraction definitely works! i noticed the negative things tho... cuz i got into a fight with my mom which put me in a bad mood and then thinking negatively i cut my finger later on and then my daughter punched me in the eye accidently! lol. Time to try to learn from the Secret and think more positively! :)

@jackrumorz Funny comment - whats also funny is that the people you attract to yourself (if you class yourself as a negative person) are also negative.. everyone attracts things - it doesnt matter if your positive or negative, you'll always be attracting something, but that something will be in likeness to you - in your case.. negative things.

it took me 5 years to attract my soul mate, I was pretty negative but I could get myself in to a place where I would imagine my soul mate giving me a hug, then I would imagine my wedding day. I just wanted someone like me, same values. We have been together for 10 years now. We have the life I never thought I'd have. I have realized my power, and have attracted big things I want using a vision board, and training my thoughts to be positive. It is easy, but not always, I work at feeling good.

I think the Law of Attraction is a load of BS, fiction. There is no evidence of anything, but it's something you should practice to be successful and happy in life. It will keep you positive and happy. It's like joining a church, you'll feel better, a better person but you know deep inside you that God doesn't exist. Sometimes you just have to lie to yourself to be happy..

@jmwwd The next time you are at a party or any place where there is a lot of people... look around. In general, people are attracted to the people that are "positive" and they stay away from people that are "negative". Like minded people attract each other (you will have negative people hanging out with other negative people!) Your perception is your reality. And when you realize that you can alter your perception... you can alter your reality. Do good if good makes you feel good!

Nothing is separate from the mind & it is very presumptuous of you to assume that people feel deep down inside them that God does not exist, various people feel deep down inside them that God is as real as anything they can see, hear, feel or smell. Therefore, your perception of things is NOT necessarily the perception of others. There are as many perceptions as there are people. One size does not fit all in this case.

Looking for confirmation - From what I've learned after gathering material from the Secret and Abraham Hicks is that the real secret is your feelings. Visuals, affirmations, and making cars out of your sofa are tools with one thing in common. And that is, it's not exactly what your thinking that you are getting, but it's what you are feeling that you are getting - which is affected by what your thinkg However the feeling is where you are attracting from. Sound right?

oh wow.. i got this book yesterday called 'your soul mate is calling' by Russ michael yesterday and have been watching videos by aerielle ford on her soulmate kit.. It looks pretty cool.. From what I've seen and read, just keep focussing back on what you DO want, recognise what you're feeling and 'correct' it / override it with the positive thoughts and affirmations. The more specific you are about what you want (e.g. dark hair, 6'1" ...) the longer the process may take because the universe has to move that person into your area.
