the point of no return for ear stretching is not something you can put in a general statement. the point of no return is at a point for anyone of who heals faster and slower and how responsibly you stretched. i'm at 7/16 at the moment ive taken them out before and they've shrunk almost completly to a normal 16 gauge because i heal so much faster than most people. if you heal slow most people at a 0 gauge wont shrink their ears back to a normal size.

Actually the PONR is 12.7mm and you can close any size ears up you let them shrink then you pull a roll of sand paper through you're lobe ( yeh sounds stupid but it works) and it will rip all of you're skin and raw tissue binds :).

I downsized from 22 - 8 in a few weeks. It's fairly straightforward. If you sleep with a rather large expander in, it'll become inflamed/sore but once it's healed it'll begin to return. I've downsized from 22 a few times, I'm now at 24.

People who are double zero wouldnt know if their ears go back or not cause they never stretched that far.For all of you, the real point of no return is anything AFTER 1/2. You have the best chance of going back to a normal size. BUT everyones body is different for example you could be at 5/8 and it would still close up but then someone else at 5/8 wouldnt. In a easier case, keeping good care of your ears and working out increases your chances of it healing up blieve it or not. Happy stretching!

He told me if i streched my ear out too much and wanted to return my ears back to normal he would have to trim and cut the new skin that grew or else I would have over sized lobes and that would make sense. Well when you say needle and thread it sounds like you would do it at home if you said sutchered or stitched then I would of understood.
