  • MASSIVE!!!!!

  • fucking hate spiders

  • I heard the usual suspects drop this shit on a mean system way back when and i was peakin off two pills, the shit had me fucked up to say the least.

  • PS As an old time, back in the day Junglist, I essentially agree with most of what DRIODBOY has posted with 2 exceptions: Often, people would smile when they heard tunes that moved them (if only briefly) also, "...wouldn't be...looking at girls ..." !!!! You have got to be kidding. Back then, there was NEVER a time when guys weren't looking at girls. Never underestimate the drive for any creature to mate and reproduce, and it all begins with a look, no matter how good the club or MUSIC.

  • @Peopleitsbad Yeah i know, ofc you would be looking at at girls and smiling , i just mean when a tune like messiah droped for the first time. I remember where i was the first time i heard this tune, and i remember saying to myself, what the fuck! i definetly wasnt smiling and i was and i was looking at the whole room and everyones expresions lookng at each other sort of telepathicaly saying" do you fucking hear that" !

  • @DRIODBOY Point accepted and understood. All the best to you.

  • The drop on this is so atmospheric, dark and beautiful, but yet like some sort of warning.

  • Annunaki post 2012!

  • >as seen on /mu/ -music

    im proud /mu/.

  • Hearing this at the last Renegade hardware night ever at the end is probably my fondest raving memory to date!!! Then Hearing Andy C double it with Splash - Babylon at the First RAM at Matter a few weeks later was a bit special too!! If this gets played in the dance . . . . . then youve had a good night!!!!

  • 28 people fuck each other up the ass with Pendulum endorsed dildos.

  • I met Konflict (Rob), at Music House whilst cutting a dubplate - he was a true gentleman, no arrogance, just got on with his shit - even when this was the biggest tune out at the time.

  • #Junglelives been around for 15 yrs+ & still sounds fresher than stuff being made today. Big underground push happening right now. Love it!

  • Think I'm the only 14 year old I know that knows actual Drum and Bass. Proves that this song appeals to all people.

  • @rOOmUSh LOL me too hahahahahha

  • junglee niggaaaaa(x sick tune!

  • remix it all u want ....still the best version

  • Check my channel for some unreleased songs made by Kemal and Rob Data (Konflict) and other artists

  • 27 people have no idea were the real music starts and were the commercial ends

  • This song changed my life when I heard it on Dieselboy's System upgrade. How could a dj pick a stronger opening track than that? :D

  • Waaaaaa a a a

  • Midnight on the millennium Grooverider @ Ny SUSHI who was there?

  • this tune is timeless

  • first time hearing this...its like..i can only compare the feeling to my first night in college..away from home at 18...the joy...when i realized..i'm not home and could be out all night do whatever the fuck i wanted and...jesus..it's even like my first orgasm!?

  • Great track but Ive always thought the drop was very weak.

  • :D Right? just shut the fuck UP shut the fuck down comment shut the fuck...

  • shut the fuck up,,,

  • this tune makes the party - u heard it first time - unforgetable

  • Lol, e'd up drum and bass fans who think they know everything about music

  • Such a classic!!!

  • stfu, listen to the music you gimps

  • @amenKilla yeah it's a good thing it still gets played out on a regular. This tune will never get old, timeless.

  • tune!! they dont make them like this anymore :(

  • You have got to feel the song, let it take over your body to really appreciate it. The synth is from another planet.

  • Pendulum? its like saying yeeah man I love Kanye Wests latest single and I know everything about hip-hop. gtfo.

  • epic all time drum nd bass favorite

  • puissanty cette tracks polalalla quesque j'ai pu danser dessus en free

  • good song but pic is kinda dirty ugly looking

  • @rOOmUSh haha me too, pendulum ftw. Witchcraft rmx by rob swire is insane!

  • roof off

  • This track takes me to the void and back everytime!

  • Proper dnb. Makes me thing of dark loud sweaty rooms filled with peole thinking wtf. You wouldnt be smiling or lookign at girls, you be on a distant planet called jungle, void of comecialism and the mainstream.Where you breath originality and are proud to be part of the underground scene and proud to be different. I see a lot of the new v old school debate. New stuff is good but comon ts comercial, its for money. These tunes where made for the few, and its us few who see the difference today.

  • @DRIODBOY Honestly bruv, that is one of the best fuckin quotes i seen in a long time. i remember this tune droppin at One Nation v Slammin up the sancturary in 2001 in the rollers arena. had these dark red lights eveywhere n every lighter raised. place went mental when it dropped. dark as fuck, they dont make it and raves aint like this no more haha. big up fella. you KNOW....

  • @DRIODBOY big uP! great statement ;D

  • @DRIODBOY yes yes, couldnt be more true my friend

  • @elusive323 So true! This track just brought me back, I think jungleboy use to play this track all the time.

  • @elusive323 yes indeed - that was our time.... no more

  • @DRIODBOY sums up perfectly what i couldnt express in writing

  • Comment removed

  • @DRIODBOY This track first dropped in the mix back when DJ's played on the wheels of steel (I believe from Dieselboy when I first heard it) everyone freaked out, ripped their spines out and fished around on the floor for a little while! Ah, the dark stuff really gets the mood going for me :) Makes me want to hear some Loxy & Ink, some Ed Rush & Optical and some Dom & Roland!!!

  • @DRIODBOY Agreed, wholeheartedly.

  • @DRIODBOY i was onlly 10 when this tune came out and my cousin played it to me off a casette tape lol i didnt know where to put meself lol

  • @DRIODBOY ...truth and definition of "real talk"

  • best ever!!!

  • This is getting played at my funeral

  • @MrBenyFtw If this was being played at your funeral, it's only appropriate it be followed by a Burial track.

  • This song inspired rob swire to make the band pendulum.

  • @thelukefow122 yeah haha i just read that on WIKI i had to check it out..... AND OMG PENDULUM KICKS ASS THANG OD FOR THIS SONG

  • @jimb327 There are some elements Konflikt took from Pendulum :) LOL!

  • Dark and heavy... KILLA!

  • Even Chuck Norris likes this tune!!

  • Proper, scary, dark shit

  • I so love this song. This song imo changed DnB as it was. I'm no pro anymore, never got as high up as Dieselboy , but I was asked several times when this song dropped, not to use it. For whatever reason, this song made people go apeshit.

  • @MrOrionQuest This is also one of the tracks I would never let a MC touch. Sorry guys/mates, too classic for lyrics to just jump all over and ruin.

  • So much better than any new drum and bass. There is only a few dnb artists that are worth listening to these days imo, Noisia being one. I prefer dubstep even though dnb used to be so good.

  • the song that inspired Pendulum.

  • Help me! I'm in danger of destroying my speakers again.... This track - there aren't words good enough.

  • what a tune ! brings back some memories

  • best intro in dnb history

  • this song is what made ro and gareth from pendulum decide to make drum and bass instead of heavy punk metal

  • @adamanFTtitwell I'd love them to make some heavy punk metal.

  • Prawdziwy techstep!!!!!!!

  • this scream makes every dancefloorcrowd go insane

  • Still have this on vinyl

  • this song is the shit!

  • would love to hear 1:28 + belted out from the top of a mosque,if it did I might turn to Islam

  • @TheEyez187 I agree this should be the soundtrack to morning payer..........hahah i can just imagine all those A-rabs having a skank to the bassline of this mad tune as it rips through those prayer speakers at 6 am.........its still rave o'clock

  • @Ga2Ng1ST3A Knew a Regulator would agree:)

    + it's always rave o'clock

  • Messiah, i think we all need to thank you for the greatest DnB band on earth..... PENDULUM!!!!!

  • @pewa100 pendulum are not the best dnb artist not a fuckin chance

  • All time classic, techno D&B. Solid beats, atmosphere, whilst funky....

  • I remember the first time I heard this track. I was at a rave in Puerto Rico up in the mountain's jungle and they set the stage up under an enormous tent. This song dropped, crowd went insane, DJ did a rewind and the place erupted in anticipation of him playing it again... the second time around it was just as sweet. Fantastic roll, heaven of an evening...

  • dutty dutty tune LOVE IT!

  • Big up to all tunes...lack of nothing...

  • best version

  • Andy C!

  • Dear Konflict,

Thank you for giving us Pendulum. That is all.

  • @mitcho1989

all kiddos who think they know their stuff talk about Pendulum

Pendulum is not top stuff at all just what noobies download

  • @rizla357 Stop hating... It's all part of the 'evolution'... My first Rave was at 16 and I'm 37 now... Been going ever since... Community doesn't happen with 'hating' attitudes like yours... Just enjoy the ride... Know what you know... If a fellow is wrong kindly school... Don't hate with foolish words... Just smile and dance... Life is too short... Love The Human Race It will be gone someday (soon)!!!

  • @rizla357 agreed. This song is was inspired them!

  • @rizla357 Pendulum are a great band, they certainly don't make the best dnb, if at all. they have a much more rock (or commercial i guess) influence, but that doesn't make them bad. just not dnb.

  • @rizla357 Real talk, Messiah was one of those tunes that really defined the scene. Pendulum were cool when they came swing stepping in with the vault on that EP and some of their other ecletic tunes like back 2 you etc. Definitely a far cry from their bro synth guitar setup they have rocking these days which is complete bullshit. As soon as Pendulum went on their first world tour where they played a set that was record for record the same as their Essential mix, I knew I wasted my money.

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

  • that picture is f'in nasty and im sure my heart rate is rising just looking at the buggers. its my bed time too, so you are now guaranteed that middle of the night im abruptly waking up with language like a trooper from glasgow

  • that picture is grimming me out

  • this is the track that inspired pendulum to play drum n bass, awesome

  • When the beat starts to drop i get chills down my spine =D

  • The start is very cool

  • Epic and absolutely huge tune, so much energy, so fierce! Loving this since I first laid ears on this one!

  • did u guys knew that this song appeared in therapy session 3 AND bulletproof? pretty usefull, i know, keep this in mind

  • Too many people are getting sand in their vagina over this...turn the volume up and let it go!!!

  • Why's everyone talking about school on a track that has nothing to do with education.

  • this song made pendulum want to make dnb

  • greatest dnb tune ever bar none . concord dawn tonite 2nd "

  • this has got nothing to do with with ketchup

  • c + t +a + tfm + m + u = This Music !

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    sick stuff!

  • No1 tune of all time!!!!!!!!!

  • To everyone... This is a great tune. Not a fucking forum.

  • One of my top 5 DnB tracks. Just wanted to drop a nice comment about how breathtaking this castle of a drumnbass track is, after I listened to it again after sum time. Kinda sad that people are only fighting about what is better or worse.

  • sounds like pink floyd when it starts. but soon you realize that not only is it NOT pink floyd, but also this is probably what it sounded like in sid barrets head on that last trip that sent him over the edge of sanity. this song is fucking immense.

  • I went to see Tek-One a few weeks ago and he ended on this. It was epic.

  • the remix is better though

  • Best track ever!!!big upz konflict

    Hhertz

  • I love the starting :)

  • just enjoy the fuking tune and quite being dnb jaded fuks basically. Pendulum's production is above most of the rest, all the shit talkers are ignorant. This song is the shit too while we're at it. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh listen

  • fuck pendulum, why do things get shit as they become popular I dont understand!!!

  • @alex57885 just the way the world works im afraid

  • @alex57885

    - money ...

  • Even now this intro makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and a shiver goes down my spine. Beast of a tune!

  • @Samael78 me too man

  • Comment removed

  • shitttttt its soo dark i love it.

that synth fucking talks to me

  • one of the most influential dnb tracks i can remember of... remember when this was the darkest choon u ever heard in dnb? oh long gone are those days ahah RINSE!!

  • PENDULUM CAN KISS MY WHITE ASS. They will never and have never written a track thats ever been any good and as for insparation !!!!! This is the best track Konflict has written in my eyes.PHAT AS FOOK!!!!!

  • 1:26 Always Always Always sends shivers down my spine! skanked out to this tune and its various other remixes many a time, phat times!

  • andy c does the best mix of this ever

  • What is 'Pendulum'?

  • @MrSpiderman666 another D&B band

  • Biggest tech/darkstep anthem of all time? Methinks yes.

  • Fact of the day!!!!

This song inspired the band "Pendulum" to be formed after two of it's members heard it at a rave.

    :D

  • @samzz00zz Good Job Reading That Off Of Wikipedia

  • @TheMightyDnv dont be a dick, i expect very few people know that this track has had such an impact on dnb.

  • @minieggg1

Yea, darkstep had major impact on dnb. That much of an impact that now you cannot see the difference.

But dnb is going to hit a wall soon. Past few years are worst for dnb.

  • @ROYALEFFEKT

"This song inspired the band "Pendulum" to be formed"

who then had a major impact on the dnb industry >.>

  • @minieggg1

That's sad. Pendulum is dog shit.

I actually don't know i listen to old stuff only (lets say till end of 2006), new stuff are just to commercialized, the sweetness of it just irritates me.

    Cheers, mate.

  • @ROYALEFFEKT i was talking about the old stuff :) hold you colour was their best album (slam <3) the other 2 were let downs, i think they aimed it at the more profitable non dnb audience thou. The stuff they didnt offically release on the greatest hits bootleg was also quite nice :P

  • @minieggg1

loxy, kemal, clipz, calyx, dillinja, dieselboy, ill skillz, rob data, limewax, lemon d, technical itch, faith in chaos, rawthang, dj hidden, ed rush, rawtee, usual suspects.

    (++4 years ago)

After those artists, and thats not even half i could remember of, new or old pendulum is just bullshit.

i classified artist such as pendulum as childish girly dnb.

  • @ROYALEFFEKT

DnB is as good as ever and will continue to be.

In fact, it only keeps getting better and better.

Dubstep is what's killing music in general though, someone needs to do something about that shitty genre if you can even call it that.

  • @NeoTStyle I can understand that you feel dubstep is worse than the music it came from, but I don't agree that it has the ability to "kill music in general". DnB artists can still make DnB however they want, can they not?

  • @frustumator

Of course. There IS good dubstep like Flux Pavilion and hell, even Pendulum made a good dubstep tune.

But it's like no one besides FP bothers anymore to make good, enjoyable dubstep. It's kinda sad, because I like the big (pendu)snares they like to use in dubstep and it could be a good genre.

  • @NeoTStyle

What dubstep has to do with anything?

    What are you talking about?

    How old are you? 15?

So you decided to listen to commercial DNB?

    Are you felling cool?

    Give me a break, please...

  • @ROYALEFFEKT

I don't listen to commercial DNB because such a thing doesn't exist.

Besides, why would you ask ME if I'm feeling cool when you're the one who pretends to be an underground clownsteppa.

You can go on and pretend Pendulum wasn't good if it makes you feel better about yourself.

  • @NeoTStyle

i stopped going to gigs 'cause of teenage brats like you, showing up with your retarded moves you dubbed from youtube. Ofc commercial dnb exist, it gathered all of you puberty fallouts.
