This ship is very good in littoral waters, and open ocean in large groups with AWACS or in conjunction with a taskforce of larger ships as a force multiplier, and it serves in many navies around the world

The missiles this carries are also excellent vs any ship and provide for a very limited window of employment of defensive systems due to its speed and highly lessened alotted enemy reaction time. Where a ship would see a harpoon 5 minutes before intercepting it, this leave say 1 minute react

russia is not cheap they make a better product for less. it's time U.S. steped up and stoped overspending for products that don't really do the job. if U.S. were to go up against a true world power in a conventional war the outcome would be questionable to say the least. maybe it's time U.S stoped putting all the dollars in their political pockets and defended our shores instead of worrying about the small stuff. Russian navy is on the way to being THE navy of the high seas.
