my favourite plane, its fast strong, manouverable as a rabit, just a plane with a lot of options , pitty the vtol sytem whas never equiped to it, that would make the a-10 just as sick as the apache ., i am still impressed by the firepower of the a-10, it can carry 6 lau-3 rocketpods, each pod contains 24 minirockets.....enough to carpetbomb a small village into debree .

@Robbieifyoucan I agree, they will wind up building a next generation version of the A-10 eventually, but not until these can no longer fly. They seem to still do the job just fine, and probably cheaper per flight hour than the JSF will.
