I own this same truck, I love it but the sonar made to prevent this from happening is extremely laggy and the camera is un reliable because objects that appear far away are actually 1foot away. it's cost me a couple fender benders and I now go back to the old fashioned driver passenger mirrors since the rear view mirror responds to light only at night Can't really blame the driver the blinds spots in those trucks are crazy, both at fault guy shouldn't be in the street.

there are three!! rear view mirrors on a vehicle. two side mounts and a windshield mount. from the looks of it the reporter had to have been visible in the driver side mirror and the windshield mounted one. so the driver obviously was not using them to back up. what was he/she using? the force? "ok guys, i think i'm going to back up for about 50 feet, just random backing. nope, i don't have a destination. nothing is ever behind stuff so why should i look back? that's time wasted."
