I agree! For me there are few stars today that are attractive to both men and women. This one of the many reasons why I find such classic stars so interesting, some of them are so handsome and attractive even members of the opposite sex agree! :)
Forgive me, I meant 'not necessarily' in reply to my own comment, not yours so please do not be offended:) I agree, his voice is so nice to listen to also, and whnever he is on the screen you just cannot help but watch him because his presence is so hard to ignore, and of course, ver attractive;). He was one of the greats, I can't get over how beautifully handsome he really was:)
@Sinatrafan12 ha ha nope I didn't take offense at all I didn't think you were contradicting me.but yes Olivier has a eternal star quality doesn't he and quite universal, for instance there are some actors who only women like (or fancy) and some actresses that only men like (or fancy) if you catch my drift, now then if you can have the qualities to not engender jealousy with members of your same sex and attractiveness to the opposite sex then your a star!.I'm personally working on this myself.LOL

@mitsymagicful , I agree. Men can be beautiful, and even stunning to a certain degree, but not all handsome men are beautiful in my opinion. For example, Cary Grant is handsome, but i would necessarily say he was beautiful like Olivier. And yes I think women can be handsome too, it does't mean they look like a man, but can have very handsome, boyish features:)
@Sinatrafan12 Yeah true..Carty Grant isn't beautiful... but is 'handsome' necessarily boyish?.. to me the word evokes a kind of elegance in both sexes for instance Vivien Leigh is handsome and so is Greer Garson both featured in my video but they are very feminine aren't they?
@mitsymagicful No, not necessarily. I agree, handsome is elegance, charm, and being attractive. I think Garson and Leigh can be handsome to look at, but on the screen they are indeed very feminine. For me, Olivier is beautiful as well as handsome, opposed to Cary who is just handsome.:)

Hi, the movies are Wuthering Heights (opening scenes), then a short clip of As You Like It from the 1930's, Lady Hamilton (the one with Nelson), Pride and Prejudice with Greer Garson and Fire Over England, (the Elizabethan one with Vivien Leigh) they are all really good films!
