This car of yours is an inspiration ! I love the car, video and enthusiam. I'm restoring a 1930 Sedan (3 window). It wont be ready for three months. Thank you !!
Do you have an Trunk & Rumble Assembly Schematic on a 1929 Coupe? Need some restoration schematics on a 29 STANDARD COUPE (45-A) I think it is a 45-A instead of the 49-A. Found numbers on the cab NK8801.
@SjoerdB82 Maybe in car as old as this one speedo is cheating you a little. I heard that Model A can reach maximum 65mhp. Your one reach over 70mph. That makes it the fastest stock Model A i know. ;) Regards from Poland! Keep your pretty as nice as it is!
@7thSonOfHolyDiver The Speedo is ok. But the speed is in KM/h! 70 km/h is about 44 mph. The top speed is 105 km/h (65 mph). 70 km/h is a save speed for the original engine.
@SjoerdB82 Wow! I thought it was in mph! I fought that your Model A was made for US of A not for Europe. Sorry! It's a rare to see Model A made for/in Europe.
I have a lot of great memories of the Model A growing up as a boy in the 1930s. I use to own a 1931 Model A pickup I purchased in 1946. Beautiful car.
It is not in Friesland. It is in the province Drenthe just a few kilometers from Friesland. But we drive the oldtimer 11- cities oldtimer tour in Friesland every year.
I love the car, and thanks for posting it. I would like to know the name of the song you played in the background. I have heard it before, but can't remember the name.
that is a beautiful car...mine is a 1930, and nowhere near that pretty but it runs perfectly. Thanks for making this video, nice to know there are others out there enjoying history.
It`s really a nice car. I have a phaeton here in Brasil mine is 1929 and it still runs beatifully. I always hve my trips with it. They are the bvet cars I know. congratulations, jorge patricio
Great car. I have 1 question and one recomendation. Do you know where the plate that has the body # on it goes on the firewall? And I noticed that you have a 30-31 Generator, I would recomend changing to a 28-29 Generator but as long as its working disregard this.
@30ModelAguy I have a 1930 with a missing number plate on the body, and a 1931 roadster which has the number right under the small aluminum plate on the engine area of the fire wall near the upper left as your facing the car standing in front of it. the number plate is almost touching that liitle aluminum plate. Do you know what that aluminum plate was for?
Thanks! It's my fathers car. Mostly we drive around together in the '29 coupe or the '31 Tudor. Two weeks ago i did the "11-stedentocht", an oldtimerrally along 11 cities in the Netherlands. We did about 400 km in one day. Absolute no problems. Great cars!
It would be faaaaaaaaaaaaaar better WITHOUT this s*** music in the background. I would like to hear the engine, not the "music" !!

Has this model a stock engine? I think this one is a little too fast for a stock one...
7thSonOfHolyDiver 4 months ago
Yes, this is a stock engine. The engine is completely rebuild. The car is just as fast as original.
