  • This one is really really helpful! I can think of soo many things now! Thank u soo much :-)

I made some stop motion (pls see my channel!!).. Want to try some of these advanced techniques now

  • Thanks for the tips ! this is geat :)

  • I'm a child of the 80s so I'll always love stop motion animation. Large Marge from Peewees Big Adventure gave me nightmares for years. I think I need to make a bleeding Large Marge Target now!

  • Good tutorial. I personally would shoot the vehicle and background at 24/25 fps an shoot the characters on 2s (move them every other frame). The mill machinery in the latest Wallace and Gromit is filmed this way and it is so smooth.

  • thank you and you've given so much new knowledge to me and my children who I'm starting to teach this art (stop motion) to.

  • GREAT! thanks a lot your a big help

  • omg these tanks are so hard too find! do you have any extras?

  • nope. I only managed to buy this particular one about 7 or 8 years ago. Sorry.

  • oh ok..... if try to find one on ebay they cost a fortune!

  • It wasn't exactly cheap back when I bought it (I think it was like $120!)

  • holy crap!!! i wish 21C would go back in business...

  • i love that stuart

  • Well Its going to be hard. Im going to be keeping the water still. or use fishing string to keep the boat or object still so that way I could waves and not worry.

  • thanx for the tip once I make my water movie I'll try your idea. But what about boat scenes? I'm useing water. Do you think I should just let the boat or floating object flow with the water?

  • Wow! Water would prove to be a challenge! Not sure how you would go about controlling the movement of liquids like water in order to create stop motion video. I would avoid using REAL water... Maybe use blue cellophane wrap or something instead!

  • would you reccomend that i use windows movie maker if i am just starting? also, do you just take pictures and mash them together? where do you get your sound effects?

  • Hey huttwigley dude your ausome by far better than robot chicken animation thats how good u are how much does the photoshop u use cost how do u put it in 2 movie maker how do u ad sound please make a tutorial about my question that would rock or respond to this comment as soon as u can thnks. p.s. what kind of camera do u use once agian please rsvp

  • MAn this is great

  • thx for the this info. How did u learn this? You are very good at this!

  • Thank you! Most of it I figured out through experimenting. The rest I learned from other stop-motion artists. I'm still learning, so my work is only going to improve!

  • M-5 Stuart son

    good job

  • Extremely helpful tutorials, Hutt! Excellent!

  • Thanx for doing that. I've been wondering how to do a road scene. And now I know.

  • Well, it's either this, or we invent a cat-powered tank! :-)
