Oh my. My granma plays like this. It brings back memories. So thank you so much. Im in college away, but ill see her for the holidays..Ill be sure to make her play for me. ! Thanks again, just amazing !
My Grand uncle wrote this beautiful piece of music (Rev.J.C.Moore)and the family has enjoyed it numerous time over the yrs. This is a really a good rendition. Thanks for playing it.
This is really Beautiful. I love Southern Gospel Music and your style of playing is great. God has surly blessed U with some Talent. Please keep playing.
Very nice job! Somewhere, Dad Speer is smiling. I have a few southern gospel tunes posted over on my channel. God bless you and keep playing for His glory young man! Mike (MoJoPiano)
Thank you for sharing your talent so others may be blessed. My mother and sisters sang this song w my Grandma before she passed away in 1967. They continued singing Never Grow Old, and one by one they have passed on to their Heavenly reward. My mother suffered a stroke in 2003, which left her partially paralyzed. Her speech was affected; yet she continued to praise God and kept the upward look until Dec 9 2007. My Aunt Myrt(97)is still living. She enjoyed so much playing the piano & organ.
I loved this very much -- Dad Speer would be proud to hear his music being carried by a new generation into the 21st Century, that all may be blessed by it. Unfortunately, this old Southern Baptist style of piano playing -- this ragtime/stride-esque style -- is dying out, and it's sad, because it's SO beautiful! It's always so nice to see someone young taking an interest in it and continuing the tradition.
You play very well sir. . . thank you for playing that song. It reminds me of my parents who passed away many years ago leaving me alone. Your playing keep back their sweet memories and again my longing for them rekindled. Tho I was not given the privilege by God to enjoy them much, I still thank Him for me enjoying them for a season. Thank you for sharing us your talent and gift from above. You're a blessing to keep.
I love how you play this song. I play by music and jazz it how I like it. You must play by ear. Your Piano sounds great I just got a new Kawai. When i finish nursing school I will have a Baldwin.
