As a person who used to live in Monroe, Louisiana, my cousin went and saw that fight and I later found out about it from him and saw it on the news. Believe it or not, that was the first mascot fight I've ever seen on the news. Lol. :P

I personally know Chief Bravespirit too! I also hate that the mascot had to change. First the name of the school then a few years later the mascot.

Oh well. This video will now forever live on. Its great though, cause when the video is on Spike, people will go where Chief works now and be like "I SAW YOU ON TV!" haha. People even call me saying they saw him on TV.

as a current student at ULM formally known as NLU, this is the best thing ever. Chief Bravespirit is no longer with us due to NCAA restrictions, but his legend lives on through this video and this moment. LONG LIVE THE CHIEF!!!!
