This is my favorite subspecies! The striping is bold and even, and it goes clear to the hoof! The baby will be a challenge to train; bottle babies generally are. They lack the respect they would have if not hand raised. The human colt will cherish these pictures in days to come. Not everybody gets to raise a baby zebra!

I agree with you... there is too much meddling with nature by humans... and although I can tell you this zebra is now a 2 year old heatlhy being living in a a big animal reserve, I also would wish humans wouldn't be so destructive of everything, specially animals.

And this child has been taught to love and cherish animals, she knows that not all animals are meant to be pets, this video was simply a one time opportunity, she didn't own the zebra she only owns a cat.

I cannot understand the nature of this video, unless it's purpose is to raise money to serve the needs of zebras, to protect their land. In Antarctica, it is against the law for scientists or photographers to touch the wild life, though the penguins sometimes get close. As cute as they are and sweet, we know it serves only our own needs to touch
