2 years ago, I contacted my bank of 15 years and asked for my £15k overdraft to be extended to £18k for three months. They charged me £140 to review my facility, then gave me 3 weeks to pay off the overdraft in full! - I pleaded with them and finaly told them it would send me bankrupt and I would lose my home (fortunately, I was spinning them a yarn) - anyway, they sat waiting for me to hand them everything I own! - bankers will eventually own everything!

The way to beat the credit card companies is to pay them off and never use them again. Pretend it's the 70s and if you have it, you can buy something. If you don't then wait until you do.

She's on the money -- especially about the credit card rate being changed due to high debt to income ratio. Not only does it change the credit card rate -- it makes your house insurance go sky high even if you have never filed a claim ever.

i remember back in 2007 when ALL the banks were pushing credit cards like a crack dealer ! I REMEMBER ! i can name HSBC for doing this .every time i came in to cash a check they would PUSH their credit card on me !!!

was told by a CSR from Bk of A that credit score was not considered in the amt of interest charged on a acct. Whether you have a 500 or 760 score; during this economy everyone is being charged the same rate.

I pay bills for myself and my Partner and CRS, only know what there Corporation brain wash them with. Credit card sent us transfer notices twice A week per card. I chose CHASE low rate UNTIL PAID OFF. They have changed bill due by ONE DAY, Now they have raised Minium Payment from 2%

Too 5%. A difference of $300.00 NOW HOW ISTHAT FAIR.
