It's been a while since I've read the books but I don't believe that the first Draconians they encountered had wings. I was also disappointed that they did not have the others duck in to the bush as Tanis ordered while Sturm refused to hide (as knights do not hide) and though that detail may seem minute it really explains the character of Sturm Brightblade. I liked the voice work, that was really good, but what was with the mixed animation? This could be so much better if they just tried harder

I remember warning the people on the IMDB board about this, that this would poison the well for any decent LOTR quality movie.

They didn't believe me, people (plants) said they had seen some of it and that it was just just fantastic. I knew it was BS, and now everyone can see that it was BS.

I read Dragonlance from junior high until I was 24. Big fan. A buddy of mine also read DL for a while, but not nearly as long. He bought the movie, watched it, and never watched it again.

Then his apartment burned down. When we were going through the rubble, he came across his DVD collection. All his DVDs were fine, but the Dragonlance DVD was on the other side of the room. It had been burnt to a crisp. No one was sad.
