You might want to watch a few more of my cat videos. I have 4 cats who only go outside in a special play yard out the backdoor. I formally volunteered at an animal shelter, where I got 3 of them, 2 have medical conditions, and 1 of them only has 3 legs. These cats are spoiled.
Peanut I found as a stray, at about 4 months old. Kiki was next, she was a shelter cat, who had kittens at the shelter. Beans was next, she was born there, and spent the first year of her life in a cage because they thought her chronic URI was contagious. She also has another medical condition that I have to keep an eye on. She was 1 year old when I got her. I got Chucky as he was being turned away from the shelter, so I still call him a shelter cat. But as you can see, they were all rescues.
I had a repairman in to inspect the furnace ducts. The cats cannot go outside (or in the open furnace ducts) so they had to be caged. Remember, I always keep Peanut separated from Chucky, and that was another reason they were all caged separately.

This cage has limited floor space, and Chucky cannot climb very well. He still tries, and he falls a lot. So Chucky is in another room with a gate on the door, he cannot jump over the gate, but the other cats can, so they are caged. Beans was born in a cage, and lived the first year of her life there, she does not mind it. Kiki is mad about it, and Peanut is so scared, that he stayed right there for hours, look at the size of his eyes☺☻☺

A multi level condo? That's a pretty class joint. Beans looked like, "Meh," but Peanut and Kiki were NOT impressed.

It is a folding cage and it was only $89 from PetEdge. The dividers that separate it into upper and lower areas and the sheep skin covers cost extra.
