  • Didn't Rudolph Flesch explain the nightmare of sight words in 1955? Johnny couldn't read because of sight words.

  • Sight words is only a minor portion of my reading program. It is heavily focused on phonics, but some words need to be treated as sight words.

  • This video and some others prompted me to create No More Sight Words on YouTube). My suspicion is that children don't need a single Sight Word. Please feel free to convince my viewers that I'm wrong.
