@friskerbizkit - most of the brown mats you see on videos are the ranger craft mats. I actually use a baking mat that is designed for the oven which can stand very high temps. Works just the same as the ranger mat, and a lot less money. You can find them at any store that specializes in kitchen items.
@my3girlz602 - If you have a Michaels Craft store you can find it there or check online. Also, I think if you look up liveteachcreate, Jenn might be selling it in her online store. Good luck.
Kathydid47* The center of the yellow flower is small pearl sprays you find in the wedding section of a craft store. I use my Alcohol inks to change the color from white to the color I wanted.
These are terrific! I had been wondering what kind of glitter would give this same look -- and you have TOTALLY answered my question....you said you got Diamond Dust at Michaels?
Great idea. thanks for sharing. Sure hope I can find some of that diamond dust to try this out. Love the way yours turned out. Thanks for sharing such a great idea.!!!
What a great tutorial... I didnt realise you could buy that glittery stuff, I know I wanted some the minute I got my prima roses but didnt have a clue what it was called, thanks so much for the tutorial and providing me with the answer I needed to go get me some of that diamond dust :-)
I don't have Diamond Dust, but I do have the chunky glitter from SU! Is the Diamond Dust similar to the SU! chunky glitter? Does anyone know? I am going to give this a try for sure. I can't find these Primas anywhere, including online. I have checked several places, but no luck. So if any of you know where to order them online please let me know. My Michaels doesn't carry any Prima items at all! They are horrilbe to say the least!
If want to buy Primas online try texas_tuddy on ebay. I found her becuase of Bona and Arlene. She has great prices. Im excited and cant wait for my order to arrive. So hope this helps you out.
OOOOOOO my I am sooooo luving this. I hope I can find the Diamond Dust here in Canada, Wish me luck. :) How did you come across this. Thank you for sharing.
Fantastic tutorial! So excited, I have had that Diamond Dust for a couple of years and have not used it much! I know what I will be doing this afternoon!
Hi there,,, where did you buy your diamond dust My Micheals does not have it nor does my Walmart! I went to 4 different Tuesday mornings and Big lots and could not find it! :{{
roxycar11 - I bought it at my local Micheals. It was located in an area of the store I wouldn't have thought to look there for it. I found it in the isle with all the different adhesives and gold leafing products. Hope that helps.
beckwhitty - My Micheals had it in the adhesive isle by the gold leafing products and crackle mediums. You may also want to look in the floral department.
Really love the flowers! TFS!
