  • nice beat, this beat is also nice watch?v=v_c22z_ymiM

  • i like it

  • You did a nice job

  • I produce all my music myself and make all my beats in reason too. Check out my tracks and tell me what you think if ya got the time, thx

    ~N.i.M~

  • i like it!

    check out my song please

  • LOL THAT SUCKS HARD

  • its alright innit, a bit of sidechained compression on the kick would be nice,

  • I would prefer to call this a mix o composition instead of a beat... good job

  • nice

  • I love playing with the analog synths. You can do some early Pink Floyd sounding stuff.

  • you dont have any

  • Nice! ... i just got reason 4 yesterday and i was wondering if its possible to upload a song (mp3 wav etc) on to reason to remix it

  • hello!

you cant import mp3 to reason, but you can import .wav files, (with nnxt or nn19)

if you import a song as .wav file to reason you can only add effects like reverb, dist etc, but you can obviously not change any elements of the song, since you dont have the song as a project file.

you might find the song you want to remix as a midi file (which you can import) or else you'll have to make the remix from scratch.

  • @11368x recycle can take care of that...load a song, chop it how you want it then you can run it in the Dr.Rex...not sure if your reason came with recycle tho

  • haha i cant believe you just wrote that.

     "the hit maker" hahaha

  • I can tell you still have alot of growing to do being that I may not have liked your style of music and did not ridicule you. However, you felt inspired to laugh at someone who is new to the game of beat making and admired your attempt at making a beat. I merely agree with the notion that people who laugh at other people only deem it necessary to do so for the southing of their poor, and torn inner being. In spite of your negativity mytorp I appreciate the response

  • Soothing :)

  • Dont post spam on my videos, you come here and say LOOK AT MY STUFF!!!!! someone even marked your comment as spam before i got here to reply.

advertising your own stuff at the cost of others = no good, its not the way to get more views.

and i still think its hilarious for someone to call himself "the hitmaker"

  • Ignorance is bliss. U obviously dont know what spam is.. I actually looked at this horrible ass vid and merely commented on using reason for the first time as well.

Look at any other reason 4 vid and tell me if you see the same comment jack ass. Dont play yourself.

  • @myrtorp Fresh the Hitman....nuff said

  • Well put. No one should breed negativity.

  • At first i wasn't sure about the continuous bass hits in the first half, but it really adds a sense of urgency and intensity. The second half is sweet, too. Good energy..

  • tight beat, good for weed use. check out my man DJlogical. all beats made on reason 4.0, check it!

  • whats with the birds chirping / kettle steaming sound

  • omg

  • This is way better than my first attempt at reason! *thumbs up*!

  • Cheers!

  • sounds really good!!!

  • thank you!

  • I'm new to all this. You're using Reason. Did you purchase it online? And if so what is the cost?

  • I bought it in a store, for about $450

  • Thnaks so much.

  • cool . very nice, that remembers me some Vangeli's beats

  • Hrhr, Myrtorp, nice one, you would laugh if you could hear MY first Reason "project" =P

    5*/5* for the cool tune

  • hehe cheers man!

  • I'm assuming you've used older versions of reason eh???

btw dude, that is sick track man. I like it a lot, I give you 5/5 for thisone

  • thanks!

yup i started with reason 3

  • Pretty neat. Liked it.

  • Cheers!

  • First Beats ??? 5/5 good job :)

  • thanks :-)

  • were you using the 'cinematic justice' device?

  • I'm guessing you had about 4 million Delay Lines and 3 million Reverbs :)

  • Something like that yeah :P

  • good stuff mate. better than what i could do 5*

  • Cheers dude!

  • The thing is u try to hard

i like the FX and everything but idkk!!

  • sounds liek shit

  • only thing is the end bit is gay as fuck but i reli like the main bit m8

  • ye m8 tht some fat trance bruv....i mite upload some of my dubsteo iv made on it

  • not bad. there's a one man band on the internet going by the name glyphix out of austin writing beats with reason 4, but playing rock. pretty bad ass. sounds like tool.

  • nice!

  • i fink u speek englosh terribly

  • pick up reason 4 over FLproduceredition. i use reason4 and cubase4 rewired its dope. ive tried many DAWS and reason with cubase is hot!

  • yo bro nice beat, im strugglin between reason4 and fl studio, i wanna grab one cause i got that traxxpad studio but i wanna get some better quality shit, for reason you need all that keyboard and other shit or can you juss your ure comp keyboard?

  • thanks..

id reacommend Reason, although to get the most out of it you need a midi keyboard. you can use a virtual one but its not the same. i dont know much about FL but i think reason gives more space for creative thinking with all the different routings you can do etc.

  • how much one them things run? the midi keyboard?

  • what they cost?

well really from $150-200 and up

  • yo i just picked up reason 4 and a midi controller shits way more advanced then the psp i was using lol but i threw one up if you wanna check it out, just something simple i was just playin round with

  • naw nigga u need a midi keyboard or a drum machine, midi runs for $90 to 1000 or more

  • man if u tryna be serious you gotta get a keyboard .. you cant just use your computer keyboard thats retarded..

  • you should use both. reason has capabilites that fl doesnt. and vice versa. you can rewire the two programs two work together on one beat

  • u can use your keyboard or use th ebuilt in sequencer and manually place notes.

  • teletubby orgy at the end??

na i like the first half alot, and i appriciate the skills you have with the synth throughout. nice work

  • Thanks^^

haha yeah it got a little out of hand but i dont mind:P

  • well, uh

NO! I bought it but i know some who didn't

  • thanks! yeah the first weeks using reason are the toughest, but hang on dude , you can make it :D

  • especially tough if you've switched from something like FL Studio. (like me) where the entire UI is completely different. also, is there any way to use the PC keyboard as a midi keyboard like in FL studio?

  • yeah, you can but you need to download a virtual keyboard and hook it up with reason

  • nvm. i found a way. i like to use them in rewire with midi outs. this way i don't have to mess with reason's sequencer.

  • n1!!!

  • thx!

  • Its pretty damn awsome... right up to the bit where the rainbow comes out keep it up though you have skills :)

  • thanks dude :D I will

  • i agree with mr bingus!

  • the first 2 minutes r boss, a don't like that gay synth that cums in after it tho,ya should have made it propa heavy and bassy, thats just my opinion tho mate

  • err... ok

    (gay synth wtf?!?!)

  • sweeet nice mix bro

  • :-D

  • great mix

  • Thanks pal :D

  • I dont know what to say! I bet you did spend loads of time on this track well thats very impressive but I dont really like 'this kind' of dance. A dance/techno/house track should make u feel good after 3 beers but this one is slow and a bit boring. The strings you used are 'weird'...

    Good Luck

    Nice start by the way...

    Check main out :D

  • thanks, i will :P

actually i didnt try to make a certain type of music, I was just trying out Reason and this was the result

  • That's deffoo a good start then!

  • Woot? Yes, woot.

  • whoot?

  • GREAT...!!!! :D

You've just inspired me dude..!!! thnx for posting this kind of works..!!

    Congratulations..!!

  • No problems m8 :D!!

    thanks for commenting :)

  • Cool, wel let's say...very cool.

No really, that sounds good... ;)

  • haha okay! thanks

  • true, it really sounds great!

keep up the good work :)

  • wow dude, this sounds sooo good, is this made using only the factory sound bank or some additional refills?

  • Thanks:D!!

I think I only used the factory sounds, but im not sure. but you can make similar stuff without using refills though :P the factory soundbank is very good

  • Fucking awesome dude. love it.

  • Thanks for the awesome comment :D

  • sounds awesome man! i love the transition near the end, sound like an kids tv epic or something lol! saturday morning showtime!

  • lol thanks:D it's happy style :P

  • Reminds me to Erasure... but nice =)

  • sounds nice

    i love reason

  • thanks!

  • haha np.

in a month i made like

20 songs and beats and published them and all that

lol its fun to mess around with and explore. i basically learned everything by exploring the devices and capabilities and i am sure there is still alot to learn from it.

  • Normally this would be too much reverb for my taste, but in this instance it seems to work :) Big ass sound! Actually quite original sounding too for this style, and really quite an achievement especially for a first song in Raison!

  • Thanks!

uhm the description can be missleading, its my first one in R4, but i had been using reason 3 for a while before i made this :P

  • Nice work dude. Keep making beats, it gets more and more addicting. =)

  • :-D

  • maserck you are correct, reason 4 is easier than flstudio and for me reason 3 combined.Reason 4 is the standard.

  • Im just starting with reason , its way more easy than FL...

cool track man keep the work ...connected with a midy controler oviously

  • Tnanks and yes, Reason is quite useless without a midi controller. you can make music with reason without a midi controller, but its just frustrating :P

  • Hmm i gotta disagree about FL Studio being harder to use then Reason 4 i think both pieces of software have thier ups and downs and as for a midi controller, if you cant afford a midi keyboard then just get a virtual one and turn your computer keyboard into the controller.

Something like midiyoke with Bome mousekeyboard would do fine in Reason 4.

Anyway really nice track keep up the good work :)

    Peace.

  • Thanks:) yeah , before i got a midi controller I used a virtual one for quite a while, and yes, it worked good :P

  • i hear alot of people say that. but i think its easier to just use the built in keyboards for each device. but idk i can see the pros and cons of each choice

  • =O you always impress me.

  • :DThank you^^

  • man thats really cool, i just started using reason, its an awesome program.

  • Thanks!

yeah, Reason is great stuff :D

  • Nice! i just got the m-audio evolution myself. Know any places where i get some good free refills, of the electronic and ambient nature.

Var det en "Play around and see what happens"-låt? Eller en "I have a 'reason' behind my song" He he :P

Du får ta å msna mig några originalkillar med hög kvalitet sedan :)

Ha det bra där borta i skogen! And keep up the good work!

    /Gabriel

  • Tack dude:D det här var väl en låt för att "trya out" reason 4, dvs bara flumma runt o se om nåt coolt händer:P

    cheers!

  • NOT my style at all but still good job

check out my vid of reason 4.0 beat

it's a short making off, but at the end I will give you a short preview of how the total sounds:D

  • thank you! ok I will :D

  • fukin sik

  • damn nice syntie beat ,,, keep up .. wit da good work ^^ greets from electro baumeister in germany..

  • Thank you MadOne!

    greets back from sweden ^^

  • at 2:00 it gets really crappy. it's just a cadence with boring chords.

  • :( !

  • Great stuff!!! Does anyone know how to change the tempo in the middle of a recording in Reason 4?

  • Just change the parameter on the transport track in the sequencer. Select the track, hit record, change the tempo as suits.

  • Awesome, really amazing :-) I have no idea where to even start with Thor, so to do this is simply beyond my understanding- Great tune :-)

  • Thank you!

  • wicked!

  • thanks!!

  • were do you download this from

  • very nice :)

  • i liked from about 2:00 to the end.

  • G O D!! TN music (YOU ARE DJ)(=@=)

  • ok coo thnx man! so it does =)

  • :-)

  • can u record vocals in reason 4? and was wondering if u knew if u can record vocals in cubase 4 aswell. peace. oh!! beat was coo

  • There is supposed to be a vocal record function in R4, however I havnt found it.

I dont use cubase at all so idunno.

  • You can't record vocals into Reason, but you can import your vocals into Reason. Easiest way to record vocals to a beat made in Reason is to use the rewire facility. This enables Reason to connect to a program like cubase which in turn can record your vocals and give you more control over the whole track, i.e You can use other plugins that are not in Reason to process your entire track coz cubase plays host to such.

  • very nice beat :)

  • :P Thank you!

  • Thanks Finbar!

I like when people tels me what can be improved,!

  • god god music!! =)

  • Thank, Thank you! :P

  • not bad, keep going :) i also have reason 4, its great.

  • Thanks Maik,:P

yeah, I agree, Reason 4 rocks big time!

  • nice beat

  • Thanks, funasdog:p
