i make all my music on reason too...and im about to get signed to a label, not to be bragging or anything, but im sure a lot of people can learn from me and they can give me some tips as well. but i would like to make video tutorials of my stuff. how do i make a video like this?
you cant import mp3 to reason, but you can import .wav files, (with nnxt or nn19)
if you import a song as .wav file to reason you can only add effects like reverb, dist etc, but you can obviously not change any elements of the song, since you dont have the song as a project file.
you might find the song you want to remix as a midi file (which you can import) or else you'll have to make the remix from scratch.
@11368x recycle can take care of that...load a song, chop it how you want it then you can run it in the Dr.Rex...not sure if your reason came with recycle tho
I can tell you still have alot of growing to do being that I may not have liked your style of music and did not ridicule you. However, you felt inspired to laugh at someone who is new to the game of beat making and admired your attempt at making a beat. I merely agree with the notion that people who laugh at other people only deem it necessary to do so for the southing of their poor, and torn inner being. In spite of your negativity mytorp I appreciate the response
Ignorance is bliss. U obviously dont know what spam is.. I actually looked at this horrible ass vid and merely commented on using reason for the first time as well.
Look at any other reason 4 vid and tell me if you see the same comment jack ass. Dont play yourself.
At first i wasn't sure about the continuous bass hits in the first half, but it really adds a sense of urgency and intensity. The second half is sweet, too. Good energy..
not bad. there's a one man band on the internet going by the name glyphix out of austin writing beats with reason 4, but playing rock. pretty bad ass. sounds like tool.
yo bro nice beat, im strugglin between reason4 and fl studio, i wanna grab one cause i got that traxxpad studio but i wanna get some better quality shit, for reason you need all that keyboard and other shit or can you juss your ure comp keyboard?
id reacommend Reason, although to get the most out of it you need a midi keyboard. you can use a virtual one but its not the same. i dont know much about FL but i think reason gives more space for creative thinking with all the different routings you can do etc.
yo i just picked up reason 4 and a midi controller shits way more advanced then the psp i was using lol but i threw one up if you wanna check it out, just something simple i was just playin round with
especially tough if you've switched from something like FL Studio. (like me) where the entire UI is completely different. also, is there any way to use the PC keyboard as a midi keyboard like in FL studio?
the first 2 minutes r boss, a don't like that gay synth that cums in after it tho,ya should have made it propa heavy and bassy, thats just my opinion tho mate
I dont know what to say! I bet you did spend loads of time on this track well thats very impressive but I dont really like 'this kind' of dance. A dance/techno/house track should make u feel good after 3 beers but this one is slow and a bit boring. The strings you used are 'weird'...
I think I only used the factory sounds, but im not sure. but you can make similar stuff without using refills though :P the factory soundbank is very good
20 songs and beats and published them and all that
lol its fun to mess around with and explore. i basically learned everything by exploring the devices and capabilities and i am sure there is still alot to learn from it.

you should use both. reason has capabilites that fl doesnt. and vice versa. you can rewire the two programs two work together on one beat
rowin09 3 years ago
u can use your keyboard or use th ebuilt in sequencer and manually place notes.
