  • every song was great but this is my favorite

  • Townshend.one of the greatest song writer ever....

  • could be my all-time favorite Who recording.. perfection

  • Pure and Easy.

  • the first time I listened to this song I almost cried... this is not just music, this is poetry, this is art... this is something you never heard before...

  • The only thing i regret about this band, is that Tonwshend wrote 99% of their songs, which is a shame.

  • @miloszwojto yep

  • best live band ever, but only with mooooonie

  • Im realy glad i got to know my dad as much as i could. He turned me onto The Who.

    R.I.P T.D.M.

  • @blueridger28 I'm in the exact same boat as you. I've been listening to them, courtesy of my late father, since I was 3 years old. Now, almost 17 years later, I own all of their albums, several Townshend and Entwistle solo records, and have them them live (and am going to see Daltrey's solo act this year.) They're the greatest rock band in history.

    RIP M.L.K

  • @MokoMikoMako i saw Daltrey's Tommy show in Portland, OR.....best show i ever saw!!

  • Who am I ?Who are You !!

  • The follow up album to this should have been "The Who - Who's the Best" !!

  • "Turn off that crap."

A comment from my sister while I was listening to this song.

  • @Samalamalamdam get her told man that this band is the best ever and beiber dosnt even have a tiny bit of talent on pete, rog, keith and john <3 love them all

  • @alisidey12 Well, to be fair, she doesn't like Justin Bieber either.

  • The greatest album ever

  • I GO BUY IT !

  • Amazing song. The harmony and interplay between Towshend's and Daltrey's voice is excellent.

  • My fave Who song :-)

  • MASTERPIECE

  • the best thing about the who is you can't even tell the difference between studio and live performances that much at all, cuz the who were great on and off stage

  • @FFFFFFFu oh yes you can tell the difference.

    On stage is bloody better!

    Long live The Who!!!

  • needed to here this first song, feeling ill, its jamming who songs all night, go yanks. listen. thanks

  • Happy Birthday John Entwistle (October 9) RIP

  • @ Lefrauens, this song is on who's next, and nobody can beats Roger Daltrey version!!

  • the pure and easy on "odds and sods" i think it is... that version isnt nearly as good as this one... i could only find this one on tape...

  • @evandylan faster tempo on this version

  • Hard to beat that beginning.

  • Love hearing Pete scream "Put away the girly magazine!" at the end.

  • Pure and easy is not on the vinyle version, but realesed on the CD version.

  • This was on Who Came First...solo album by Pete. It was not on Who's Next. Check out the Pete version! Some of the best lyrics of the band. "We all know success, when we all find our own dreams..etc." Great tune!

  • @lefrauens I have a special edition of Who's Next that has some stuff that was recorded for Who's Next but wasn't released on it. This is one of those songs.

  • You know, not many singers could have brought Pete Townshend's lyrics to life like Roger Daltrey does ...

  • @firesoforion I can barely stand to listen to Daltrey's old pipes anymore, they're shot. But lordy, his singing on these early 70s cuts are just glorious.

  • @firesoforion none with his power and other things. "a strong man singing a weak man's message" as Daltrey once said.

  • I wish this song was on the original album. It's an amazing piece of music!!!

  • \m/ THE WHO \m/

  • the whos fucking awesome

  • con toda seguridad una de las mejores canciones de esta institucion del rock
