Awesome movie, really. Original, interesting, not moralistic or self-righteous, the only problem is like with many movies it seems the CGI guys behind the creature don't know a lot about physics ... 8/10 from me, definitely worth a watch.

I really liked this movie. It had good acting, decent script, great soundtrack, and a very interesting (and bold) plot =)

I give this movie roughly 8/10.

I found it, however, quite similar to another viking movie, namely "The 13th Warrior". If you saw this movie and liked it, I strongly recommend seeing this one, and the other way around.

"The 13th Warrior" is too about an outsider/outlander that comes to a place where vikings rule; and help them in a quest against some sort of evil or danger.

@healingv1sion I agree, there was so much preteen cliche that many times it was difficult to take the movie seriously. The only think that made me keep watching the movie was the alien glowing monster. It's the only thing to keep from an otherwise really boring movie. 8/10 for the monster - 3/10 for the movie.
